I just looked 'round and he's gone.

Do you ever think about the evil you see in front of you? All the wrongs committed by children, teens and adults. The world is a scary place for all its inhabitants. Here are a couple headlines from past newspapers . . . . . .

A elderly man, aged 56 years, is watching a show with his wife. He is shot and killed. Another statistic in the senseless murder of people who are minding their own business. Oh by the way he is white and the gunman is white too. A man is riding in his car and is shot by gunman. Both are white. Another man is leaving his hotel room to have dinner with friends and is shot and killed. He is black and the shooter is white.

Yes, Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr. were all killed for minding their own business, the business of righting the wrong they saw in front of them. Hard to say who will be next. Hopefully, a lot of people will be the next one . . . . . the one who speaks loudly of the evils we all see in front of us everyday.

Abraham Martin and John

Has anybody here seen my old friend Abraham?
Can you tell me where he's gone?
He freed a lot of people,
But it seems the good they die young.
You know, I just looked around and he's gone.

Anybody here seen my old friend John?
Can you tell me where he's gone?
He freed a lot of people,
But it seems the good they die young.
I just looked around and he's gone.

Anybody here seen my old friend Martin?
Can you tell me where he's gone?
He freed a lot of people,
But it seems the good they die young.
I just looked 'round and he's gone.

Didn't you love the things that they stood for?
Didn't they try to find some good for you and me?
And we'll be free
Some day soon, and it's a-gonna be one day ...

Anybody here seen my old friend Bobby?
Can you tell me where he's gone?
I thought I saw him walkin' up over the hill,
With Abraham, Martin and John.
